Grand Strand Retina is the only eye care facility in the area using yellow IQ577(R) micropulse technology delivering a more comfortable and expedited patient experience in the treatment of retinal tears and detachments, diabetic retinopathy including proliferative retinopathy and clinically significant macular edema, plus branch retinal vein and ischemic central retinal vein occlusions.  In addition to more comfort and speed, this laser also works better in treating eyes with vitreous hemorrhages and wet macular degeneration.

Grand Strand Retina is the only eye practice utilizing wearable virtual reality visual field testing and hand held automated electronic refractors in order to better accommodate patients who have difficulty with neck, back, and shoulder issues.
